OVERVIEW

With both of our companies having a strong background in hospitality in the Philadelphia DMA, it was only natural that we partner with Smooth Event Group on events, but also in marketing their successful DJ and entertainment business.

Their unique approach to an aging business model made this a fun client to create a strategy for. While most companies in the “wedding DJ” space focus on relationships with venues and peers, Smooth Entertainment was able to grow their business by bridging the gap between their nightlife and event community and being a requested wedding entertainment provider.

Rarely in the past has a couple picked their wedding DJ before they pick their venue or even wedding date. Our job was to take this already emerging brand and give it a boost through tried and true marketing strategy along with new age tactics that align with their brand. It’s been a great experience working with them and we look forward to a long term partnership.

This Havertown, PA Italian restaurant came to us mid Covid, barely making it through and asked us what to do to start building their business back up. The owner is also the chef, anything online is not where he wants to spend his time, but he does realize there’s a need to participate in the online conversation so he started looking for a 3rd party that could take the reins and move his brand in the right direction. Right away we dumped their current website and moved them to an elevated look and feelwith easy functionality for the consumer. We immediately did some SEO work on the backend and also built out SEO pages for cateringas this was a target for the owner. Next we worked with a member of their staff in house on how to get better photos. Their budget wasn’t quite enough to have us out every week, so we proposed a few training sessions where we would walk them through how to take great photos with an iPhone. All of the current photos you see on their Instagram are taken by them and then edited and posted by our team. Now equipped with some great photo taking skills they decided on a weekly photo shoot of their specials for that week. We then take those photos and work them into a marketing email to their subscribers. We’ve been sending this email with tremendous results. Because we add personal messaging at the top, their customers look forward to it each week. Overall, this has been an extremely rewarding project and we’re happy to have them as a long term client.

Operating since 2009, Executive Tree Care is a locally owned and operated tree service company servicing Chester County, Montgomery County, Delaware County (Delco) & Philadelphia County. With over a decade of experience Executive Tree Care is trusted by thousands of happy customers in 5 Pennsylvania counties! Their main line of business is residential tree service however they also do a good amount of commercial work, they sell firewood and they have a honey bee farm!

This is a situation where we actually sought out Executive as a client. Our team had worked with Jeremy and his team on a community project. We were very impressed by the amount of time and effort that Jeremy & his team put into the project. A few months later we had the ability to take on some new work and we remembered that Executive didn’t get a lot of attention for all for of the work they had put into that community project. I asked Jeremy for a meeting with him and his team and the rest is history.

Now a few years working together we’ve maximised every opportunity by capturing and promoting his community work, elevating his content, running contests and so much more. Jeremy and his team are truly a joy to work with and we’re excited to take this ride with them!

Bergholz Tree Experts is family owned and operated tree company operating out of Gloucester County, New Jersey that has a great reputation in the local area for quality work. While most of their work comes from tree service clients they also do a lot of land clearing, commercial work and of course they sell firewood.

We were contacted by the owner Gunar as a referral from another happy client. This is a situation were he wasn’t 100% sure what he wanted us to do but knew that he generally needed some professional help with marketing as a whole. He was working with another local marketing company at the time, but their services were limited to digital.

Our team immediately stepped up and stepped in by making an immediate impact. There was some amazing gems that we were able to uncover immediately one of which is that Bergholz was doing a lot of free work for the community. This just comes as second nature to Gunar but we saw an opportunity to get this story out to a larger audience, the people needed to know! We used social media as our primary vessel to roll out a recap video from their most recent community project. Thousands of views and hundreds of local likes later the phone is ringing and the leads are coming in.

More than a hotel management company, Madison Resorts is built by operators and marketers with decades of experience working and owning properties in the hospitality industry. Their team is made up of individuals with their own entrepreneurial drive and creative mindset. Upon entering a Madison Resorts property guests can expect a consistently elevated level of hospitality, decor and ambiance paired with a fun and interactive atmosphere. They aim to create memorable experiences and relationships that will last a lifetime.

As a start up Madison Resorts looked to Small Talk to step into a leadership role. This is a situation where the client wanted to build out their own marketing team under the oversight of a seasoned hospitality marketing professional. Our team stepped in as they acquired the Montreal Beach Resort and Harry’s Ocean Bar and Grille, both on the same property in Cape May, NJ. We setup an organized marketing structure with project management software and cloud based file sharing. Our graphics team created new logos and branding guides, new ads for both properties and the brand and all other creative aspects of the business. We’ve also given both properties a major upgrade to their online presence through social media strategy, email marketing, SEO and a robust online advertising campaign. This has resulted in an immediate increase in baseline revenue and a solid foundation that can be built upon for years to come.

The northeast region’s premier outdoor ice skating brand. Flight on Ice focuses on more than just ice skating, incorporating a full family fun atmosphere with heated tents, food and beverage, great entertainment and more.

Coming into work with Flight On Ice for their second year in business, this start-up company needed more than just Facebook posts. Our team stepped in to provide creative design services by creating the logo, building the website and providing all marketing materials including; pitch decks, sponsorship decks, business cards, flyers, posters and menus. We aided in building out foundational items like; project management software, Google work space and Grasshopper phone systems. We deployed and fully managed the ticketing box office which included a contract with a very new and unique ticketing partner.
