Adding Menu Items to Grand Restaurant Theme by ThemeGoods on WordPress

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to add, delete and update food menu items on the Grand Restaurant Theme by ThemeGoods. While we are generally the only ones that update our client’s websites I find it necessary to provide them with training on how to update on their own. This gives our clients peace of mind know that they have complete control at all times and while other agencies frown on this I feel that it’s just a good ethical business practices.

Philadelphia Home Selling Tips

If you’re thinking about selling your home you need to make sure that you’re home is in the best possible condition when potential buyers pull up outside. Visiting https://door.com/sell will provide you with a simple way of selling your home in an efficient and swift manner. We all know that can be difficult when trying to sell a home in Philadelphia so we found a few tips that will start you in the right direction.
Crank up the curb appeal
A fresh coat of paint on the front door and a groomed lawn invites buyers in.
Pull weeds, rake leaves and trim overgrown shrubs, especially if they block windows or the path to your front door. You’ll definitely want an attractive sign out front to draw people’s attention to the fact that your property is on the market – https://www.supercheapsigns.com/real-estate.
Paint
It’s important to make your house generic. A fresh coat of neutral paint will make your home appear larger, brighter and more appealing to potential buyers. A clean and uncluttered kitchen is a staple of home staging.
Make repairs
Fix things like leaky faucets and sticky cabinets, and replace old screens. They may seem insignificant, but minor repairs add up in the mind of a potential buyer. They tend to overestimate how much repairs cost. You don’t want to give them any reason not to put in an offer. Minor repairs can be fixed quickly and easily with the right tools. Pro-Tect Plastics can help with these types of repairs that you may come across, it’ll give you and the buyer peace of mind.
Rearrange
Lighten up your home with natural tones and a neutral dose of style.
Make sure your furniture placement allows for easy traffic flow and shows the purpose of each room. If you have too much furniture, rent a portable storage device to hold things until you are ready to move into your new place. If you don’t have enough furniture, borrow or rent.
Pack up
This includes personal photos and portraits. Less is always more. The less clutter and knickknacks you have lying around, the more potential buyers will be able to see your home and what it offers. Remember, you are selling your house, not your stuff. Plus, getting a head start on packing will eliminate some stress down the road.
Organize
When your house is meticulously organized, buyers will envision themselves living a stress-free life in your home.
Clean
Clean every inch of your house, and don’t forget to make your windows and floors sparkle. Use something like a Bissell vacuum cleaner for your floors. If your carpet appears old and stained, think about replacing it. Also, make sure there are no offensive odors. Purchase an air-neutralizing spray that will help remove odors without creating an overwhelming masking odor. Clean homes sell!
Lighten up
Let the sun shine in, and turn on the lights. Open all blinds or curtains, and make sure the house is well lit.
Temperature
Be sure potential buyers are comfortable when touring your home. If it’s freezing outside, leave the heat on, and if it’s summer, turn on the air conditioner.
Keep it ready to show
It may be a little inconvenient, but until you accept an offer, keep your home in tip-top shape at all times. What this means is that each room should have a clear purpose, nice flow and be clean and clutter-free. Buyers need to be able to picture themselves and their things in a room, and taking these steps will help ensure that.

Erin Express 2016 | Philly’s Biggest Bar Crawl is Back

Accept No Imitations!

I’m happy to announce that Small Talk Media has been asked again to lend a hand in marketing the Official Erin Express. This year we’re happy to announce that there will be specials at all of the participating bars for everybody’s favorite Erin Express beverages; Jameson, Miller Lite and Red Bull!
If you’re not familiar, Erin Express is a St. Paddys day bar crawl that’s been going strong for 30 years. The owners of Cavanaugh’s and Smokey Joes decided that it would be a good idea to order up 10 buses and have them rotate between 15 bars on 2 consecutive weekends surrounding St. Paddys day weekend. The idea caught on and the Erin Express has been a raging success ever since.
This year’s buses will run on March 6th for the official warm up crawl and then again on March 12th.
The buses will run continuously from 12pm – 5:30pm.
The buses are FREE, but I would bring a mountain of cash so you can afford Jamo shots, Miller Lite bottles and RBVs! And don’t forget to buy a round for the ladies, everybody gets loose on the Erin Express.
The buses will stop at each bar on the list every 15 minutes. All you need to do to participate is go to a participating bar, have a drink and jump on the bus when it pulls up outside.

Real-Time Advertising on Facebook & Google

Your definition of real-time marketing is about to change. While real-time marketing will still revolve around social, new elements are hitting the scene. While real-time marketing on social media is efficient, it may not reach the top retailers you need to properly expose your brand. RangeMe allows direct contact with top retailers, with the opportunity to promote to places such as Target for target partners online. Despite this, real-time marketing is still a vital part of an advertisement.
Both Google and Facebook recently announced new real-time marketing additions. Google, of course, has been the key platform for internet marketing for a while now, with all brands and businesses looking to perfect their SEO so that they can perform best on Google. This is often done by professional SEO teams such as bigfootdigital.co.uk that help their clients become higher ranked on search engines. However, it seems that both Google and Facebook are developing their presence in the online marketing world. Unsurprisingly, both arrived just in time for the historic Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7. Now both platforms can roll out their new features to eagerly awaiting brands and fans by seizing the Super Bowl’s momentum.
The 2015 Super Bowl was the most tweeted ever with more than 28.4 million tweets. Facebook also saw record-high numbers with more than 265 million posts and conversations about the Super Bowl.
The significant bump in both traffic and engagement drastically affected the ads running on Facebook. Click-through rates for Facebook ads were up 9 percent, while conversion rates increased by 415 percent compared to the Sunday prior, according to Marin Software data.
Super Bowl organizers announced this year’s NFL title game will be the most technologically advanced game ever played. With this in mind, the opportunity to generate mobile ad revenue is undeniable. I’m guessing it will be the most social game ever too.
Here’s what you need to know about the new real-time marketing additions. Follow along with the features as you tune into Super Bowl 50.

Google introduces real-time advertising

  • What: Real-Time Ads let brands publish advertisements live.
  • Why: Google wants “to help brands be a part of live events conversations in a way that’s timely and relevant.” Ideally, your message should “tie directly to the big moment consumers just experienced.”
  • Where: Your brand can instantly run real-times ads on YouTube as well as the apps and 2 million sites in Google’s Display Network.
  • When: Right now, this new addition is still in beta. Its first major test will be during Super Bowl 50. Later in 2016, the feature will roll out more broadly.
  • How: If you’re thinking, “How could I create and publish a relevant ad during a live event?” Google wants you to know that while the ad will run it real-time, “right now, the content is typically preplanned.” Phew! However, for some businesses, Google ads are not used because of rule changes, bail bond ads are one of these chosen. You can see why Google banned bail ads and what to do if you need to advertise in alternative ways. by looking at sites such as bailwebmasters.com.
  • Advantage for your brand: Real-Time Ads allow you to connect and talk with consumers when you have their full attention. So, make use of it. Oreo’s 2013 viral tweet about the Super Bowl power outage is a perfect example. Your brand can quickly chime in on real-time happenings. Or, you can amplify the same message that’s already running on other platforms.
Facebook’s new Sports Stadium can show live updates of the game as well as comments from friends. (Image: Facebook)

All about Facebook’s new real-time additions

  • What: Facebook Sports Stadium displays all content related to the game in one place. Specifically, you’ll see friends’ comments, experts’ commentary, live scores and game info. The game unfolds with a live play-by-play, even allowing you to comment on and share individuals plays.
  • Why: Facebook declares itself “the world’s largest stadium” with over 650 million sports fans. Now, they want Facebook to be your go-to place to watch and talk about the game.
  • Where: Search for the game in your search bar on iPhones. Facebook Sports Stadium will roll out on other platforms in the next few weeks.
  • When: It’s live! Right now, Facebook Sports Stadium is broadcasting American football games.
  • Advantage for your brand: There aren’t too many ways for your brand to participate in Facebook Sports Stadium – yet. For now, your best bet is to run Facebook ads during big football games to get your message out to a captive audience. Maximize your momentum by creating football-centric content.

5 Real Estate Trends that will Affect you in 2016

1. ‘Normal’ is coming.
Expect a healthy growth in home sales and prices – at a slower pace than in 2015. “This slowdown is not an indication of a problem-it’s just a return to normalcy,” writes Jonathan Smoke, realtor.com®’s chief economist. “We’ve lived through 15 years of truly abnormal trends, and after working off the devastating effects of the housing bust, we’re finally seeing signs of more normal conditions.” New construction and distressed sales are expected to return to more historical levels, and home prices are expected to follow at “more normal rates consistent with a more balanced market.”
2. Generational buying trends shape up.
Young adults’ presence on the housing market has been largely predicted for years, but 2016 may finally be the year they make a move in a larger way. Millennials represented nearly 2 billion sales in 2015 – one-third of home buyers. With luxurious properties like those available from William Pitt Realty catching eyes more than ever before, there’s a whole generation coming up with an appetite for opulent homes. They are expected to continue to be a major buying pool in 2016 with the majority of buyers between ages 25 and 34 expected to be first-time home buyers next year. But two other generations will also have a big presence in 2016: financially recovering GenXers and older baby boomers who are entering retirement, realtor.com® notes. “Since most of these people are already homeowners, they’ll play a double role, boosting the market as both sellers and buyers,” Smoke notes. “Gen Xers are in their prime earning years and thus able to relocate to better neighborhoods for their families. Older boomers are approaching (or already in) retirement and seeking to downsize and lock in a lower cost of living.”
3. New-home construction focuses more on affordability.
Builders have been faced with higher land costs, limited labor, and concerns about the demand of the entry-level market. As such, they have shifted to constructing more higher-priced homes, which has caused new-home prices to rise significantly faster than existing-home prices. In 2016, they likely will shift to more affordable product to cater to the entry-level buyers. “We are already seeing a decline in new-home prices for new contracts signed this fall,” notes Smoke. “In addition, credit access is improving enough to make the first-time buyer segment more attractive to builders.”
4. Higher mortgage rates.
Mortgage rates will likely be volatile in 2016. But the recent move by the Federal Reserve to guide interest rates higher should push mortgage rates higher in the new year than the historical lows they have been at for years. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage will likely end 2016 about 60 basis points higher than today’s level. “That level of increase is manageable, as consumers will have multiple tactics to mitigate some of that increase,” Smoke says. “However, higher rates will drive monthly payments higher, and, along with that, debt-to-income ratios will also go higher.” The markets with the highest home prices will see the effects from the higher rates the most, this might force some homeowners to look for note investing companies to purchase the mortgage note from them if they are no longer able to afford the mortgage. If this increase in rates will effect you, you now may consider selling your house or even moving. Companies like Habitat Hunters, Inc, are a great group of realtors in Austin who can help you in the process, or they are plenty of agencies out there depending on where you’re located as this increasing rate will effect multiple communities and states.
5. Rents to go up even higher.
Rental costs are skyrocketing, and the costs are likely to only go up in the new year. More than 85 percent of the nation’s markets have rents that exceed 30 percent of the income of renting households. “Rents are accelerating at a more rapid pace than home prices, which are moderating,” Smoke says. “Because of this, it is more affordable to buy in more than three-quarters of the U.S. However, for the majority of renting households, buying is not a near-term option due to poor household credit scores, limited savings, and lack of documentable stable income of the kind necessary to qualify for a mortgage today.”
